Are you ambitious and do you want to revolutionise price optimisation for e-commerce together with us? Then this opportunity is for you!
We usually respond within a week
Step into a high-impact finance role where your expertise ensures PriceShape’s financial backbone is solid, scalable, and compliant across multiple entities.
At PriceShape, we help more than 700 ambitious brands and retailers turn real-time market insights into smarter pricing, product positioning, and profitable growth. Our SaaS platform analyzes data from over 800,000 e-commerce businesses globally, giving our customers an unmatched view of the competitive landscape, down to assortment, availability, and price movements.
With strong momentum across 25+ markets and backing from growth equity investor CoPilot Capital, we’re building the global category leader in ecommerce pricing intelligence. To support our growth journey, we’re now looking for a Group Financial Controller to strengthen and scale our finance operations.
The opportunity
You’ll own group-level accounting, compliance, and internal controls, building a solid and scalable finance backbone across our Nordic entities – and beyond, as M&A is expected to play a central role in our growth journey in the years ahead. This hands-on role makes you the go-to for accounting, payroll, audit, and statutory compliance, while also supporting the integration of newly acquired entities and ensuring financial consistency across the group. You’ll work side by side with our CFO and partner with the organization to ensure accuracy and reliability in our financials.
Your key responsibilities:
Process optimization:
- Lead improvements of daily accounting and finance processes to ensure efficiency and scalability.
- Drive optimization of the month-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate closings across entities.
Systems & Tech Stack
- Own the accounting and finance tech stack (ERP, expense management, billing, payroll, banking tools, etc.).
- Evaluate and implement new tools and integrations to support automation and scalability.
Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Danish GAAP and maintain best-practice accounting standards, while managing day-to-day bookkeeping activities.
- Implement and oversee an annual accounting wheel to ensure filings, audits, and closings are executed on time and to a high standard.
- Lead the annual audit process and manage relationships with external auditors.
- Oversee statutory filings with Danish tax authorities and ensure compliance for all Nordic entities.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and ensure transfer pricing compliance across entities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders (auditors, tax authorities, system providers).
Payroll & Banking
- Oversee payroll processes for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Manage group banking setup together with the CFO.
M&A Integration
- Play a key role in post-acquisition finance activities — from onboarding new entities into our systems and processes, to ensuring compliance, consolidation, and smooth financial integration across the group.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the CFO on finance operations.
- Support the wider finance team (FP&A and M&A) by ensuring accurate and reconciled actuals.
Preferred qualifications :
- +4-6 years of relevant experience, ideally from a mix of audit and industry
- Experience working in a SaaS environment
- Strong knowledge of Danish GAAP; IFRS experience is a plus but not a requirement.
- Experience managing audits, statutory filings, and payroll.
- Familiarity with intercompany reconciliations and transfer pricing compliance.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and finance tools.
- Tech-curious: comfortable learning, evaluating, and implementing new systems to drive efficiency and scale.
- Strong process mindset with proven ability to optimize and implement scalable solutions.
- Detail-oriented, structured, and proactive
- Fluent in Danish and English.
Who you are:
- You thrive in a hands-on finance role with real responsibility and visible impact.
- You’re structured and detail-oriented, but also able to drive change and optimize processes.
- You’re motivated by building scalable solutions and ensuring compliance at group level.
- You want to be part of a fast-growing international SaaS company, working closely with leadership and external stakeholders.
What you can expect from us:
- A high-impact finance role in a fast-growing SaaS scale-up with international reach.
- Full ownership of group-level accounting, compliance, and financial governance.
- Close collaboration with the CFO and leadership team, ensuring a strong financial foundation that supports strategic decision-making.
- The opportunity to shape and optimize the finance backbone of a PE-backed company.
- Exposure to M&A activity as part of our growth agenda — including collaboration with our CFO and M&A team as well as responsibility for post-acquisition financial integration
- Competitive compensation and benefits, with flexibility in how and where you work, while being based out of our Aarhus HQ.
- A collaborative, international culture where your expertise is trusted, and your ideas truly matter
